Kian Choong Cheah is a cross-border FDI and institutional-readiness adviser with more than 25 years of leadership spanning the UAE, ASEAN and China. Based in Dubai, he specialises in governance, special situations, strategic projects and capital formation.
He founded and led a Singapore-based regional platform for 15 years across nine Asian markets, advised a UAE ruling family since 2015, and has held private-equity and SGX-listed board roles, including Independent Director and Audit Committee Chair.
He has supported over USD 2.5 billion in FDI commitments and structured a EUR 50 million China-UAE technology SPV. A Senior Accredited Director (Singapore Institute of Directors) with an MSc from the University of Salford (UK), Cheah currently serves as Secretary General of the Malaysian Business Council UAE and Chair of the KEZAD Group-MBC Working Committee.
He focuses on converting complex ambitions into institution-ready, bankable propositions through market access, transaction structuring and hands-on execution.
